Terms and Conditions for First Aid Course Bookings

1. Course Bookings

Bookings may be made via email or via the online booking system.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full prior to the course date. If invoiced, payment must be made within 30 days.
If booking within 28 days of the course start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via BACS.
Payments become non-refundable within 15 days of the course start date.
Date changes are allowed up to 15 days prior to the course date.

3. Late Payment

Any payment outstanding beyond 40 days will incur an additional administrative fee of £25 per week until the invoice is settled in full, including late payment fees.

4. Payment by Employer

Course places will be held as provisional bookings until invoice confirmation is received from your employer.
Standard credit terms for account customers are 30 days from the invoice date.
A pro forma invoice may be required, and payment must be made before the course to confirm the booking.

5. Transfers

If a participant needs to transfer their booking to a different course date, they may do so free of charge if the request is made at least 15 days before the original course date.
Transfer requests made within 15 days of the course date will be subject to a £25 administration fee.
Transferred bookings must be used within six months of the original course date. Failure to attend a rebooked course within this period will result in the forfeiture of the booking without further transfers or refunds.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 15 days before the course start date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 15 days of the course start date are non-refundable; however, clients may transfer to another course within six months, subject to a £25 administration fee.
If a participant is unable to attend due to a medical emergency or other extenuating circumstances, they should contact TLFA as soon as possible to discuss rebooking options.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and must be received before the due date.

7. Non-Attendance

If a delegate does not attend a course and has not informed us in advance, the full course fee remains payable and is non-refundable.
If a delegate cannot attend due to valid reasons (e.g., medical emergency), they may rebook onto another course within six months of the original course date by contacting traininglegsfa@gmail.com.

8. Late Arrivals / Missed Sessions

Delegates must arrive within the first 15 minutes of training.
If a delegate arrives more than 30 minutes late, they will not be permitted to attend the course.
This policy is in place to ensure compliance with qualification requirements, which mandate a minimum of six hours of contact time.

9. Certification

Certificates will only be issued upon successful completion of the training and assessment and once all course fees have been settled in full.

10. Unforeseen Circumstances (Course Cancellations by TLFA)

If TLFA cancels a course within five days or on the day of training, a full refund will be issued, including any hall hire costs incurred by the client.
TLFA is not liable for additional costs such as travel or accommodation.

11. VAT

By booking a course, you agree to these terms and conditions.
